This text is an unravelling response to ideas presented in Anis’s film and solo presentation symphony for a fraying body, built from a thinking about survival techniques, artist-led labour, and non-hierarchical organisational approaches. I wrote about my crush on marine biologist Dr Steven Haddock, about various types of tendril, and about anger, pain, fragility, collectivity and care.
